We are sure that all parents would like their children to be neat and tidy and sensibly dressed forĀ school in order that they derive full benefit from the activities provided by the school. We haveĀ listed items which are required for school uniform and various physical activities.

All items are available from Emblematic Ltd. Orders can be placed by post or online.

Boys

General

  • Royal blue sweatshirt with embroidered school badge
  • Royal blue polo shirt with embroidered school badge
  • Grey tailored trousers (traditional formal school trousers are required, no tight fitting fashion trousers are permitted. No zips or chains)
  • Dark coloured socks
  • Black leather, business-like and flat shoes. No rubber soles or trainer hybrid shoes. Ā (No trainers including Vans or similar, fabric or boots). Please see pictures below. School will determine what is classed as appropriate or not.

Girls

General

  • Black leather, business-like and flat shoes. No rubber soles or trainer hybrid shoes. Ā (No trainers including Vans or similar, fabric or boots). School will determine what is classed as appropriate or not.

Jewellery

Jewellery is not permitted (including stud earrings) with the exception of a wrist watch. Students will be asked to remove piercings upon their return to school. Tape will not be accepted for covering ear piercings.Ā 

Hair

Hair past shoulder length must be tied up at all times for health and safety reasons. No extremes of hair colour or style are allowed. Plain hairbands may be worn.

Make-up and nails

Fake tan, make-up and nail varnish are not permitted (including acrylic/false nails).

If there are any doubts or concerns about the suitability of any item of clothing of proposed hair style, parents should contact the school prior to purchasing or hiring a hairstylist.

Please ensure that all PE kit is named so it can be easily identified if it is lost.

Opening times:

Wednesday 12pm ā€“ 5pm,Ā SaturdayĀ 10am ā€“ 4pm during winter. Extended opening times during summer period.

If delivery is paid you may have items delivered to an address of your choice. (Ā£2.00 forĀ first item+ Ā£1.00 per item subsequently)

Delivery times vary upon time of year.

Office Hours

The main school office is open and manned from 8.00amā€”4.30pm (4.00 pm Fridays). Where phone
calls are made outside of these hours please leave a message which will be picked
up once the office reopens the next school day.

If you need to contact your child during the school day, for any reason, please contact
the office directly.

Absences

If your child is ill, we would be really grateful if you could contact school as soon as possible to inform us. If this does not happen you will be contacted either by text or telephone by our Pastoral Mentor Mrs McVicar usually before 10.00 am.
