Last half term, Miss Falkingham’s Year 6 English class entered the Young Writers ‘Crazy Creatures’ writing competition. Students were challenged to come up with a new creature and write a mini-saga (100 word story) about it. Miss Falkingham was so impressed with how creative the class were and really enjoyed reading about their new creations.

Many of the students found it a challenge to write a story that was exactly 100 words long but all of them managed to succeed in the end. All 28 students who entered the competition we successful in getting their stories published in the ‘Crazy Creatures’ anthology of short stories- what a fabulous achievement!
